Digital Scrapbooking

  1. Create a New Image/File (10" x 8" or 8" x 10")
  2. Add Photos
  3. Create Background Paper to complement photos
  4. Create Photo Mats
  5. Add Titles and Journaling(one per picture)
  6. Add Drop Shadowing
  7. Add Ready-made Embellishments, if desired(one per picture)

Digital Scrapbooking

The first photo assignments now need to be scrapbooked.

The requirements are as follows:
• Need at least 2 pages of scrapbooks per assignment.
• At least one photo per page.
• At least 1 text block per page.
• At least 1 embellishments per page.

The cottagearts.net folder is located in the Macintosh HD > Users > Shared folder.

To get to it, you need to go to the applications folder and find Adobe Bridge, put it in your dock, and open it.

Once it is open, click on computer in the menu at the left, then click on Macintosh HD, then users, then shared, then cottagearts.net.

You will find different backgrounds by looking through the various folder in there.

Just double click on them to open them in Photoshop.

First Photo Assignment

4 - Patterns

Use macro for at least 4 of your photos.

You will be using STRUM on your one best of each category and turning them in.

Save Correctly
Tonal Correction-Curves adjustment layer
Resolution
Unsharp Mask-Filter->Sharpen->Unsharp Mask
Mode-RGB

Tonal Corrections






Start by opening a curves adjustment layer.


















Then click where you see the dots in the picture to the right.



















Then click on the gray eyedropper.



Go to Window–>Info.

















Move around your image until all three of your C,M,Y values are close, then click on that spot to set your neutral tones.
